Bringing The Community Together

On April 19, 2017, hundreds of community stakeholders across Philadelphia and bridging across sectors - government, community, philanthropy, and education - will gather to share their work and ideas on what it means to strengthen healthy vibrant and equitable communities and neighborhoods. We will hear from those who are crucial to this work and will make connections with each other throughout the day, enabling the Community Network team to further this important work within our city.

Founded under Temple's College of Education, Community Network brings together local leaders, residents, and stakeholders to create and implement a plan to transform and elevate their communities and surrounding neighborhood. With a focus on improving the lives of our neighbors, Community Network acts as a catalyst to these initiatives surrounding neighborhood asset improvements, vacant properties, and schools.

On April 19, 2017, we're bringing the community together to discuss the past, present, and future growth of Community Network within Philadelphia.

The Free Library is a crucial member to neighborhoods throughout the Philadelphia region offering services and access to intellectual property for all.
