Distinguished Scholar, Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, returns to the College of Education

Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, EDU ’00, is a published author who makes regular guest appearances on CNN, holds a place in America’s 100 most influential black leaders, and will soon teach courses in the College of Education as well as the Klein College of Media and Communication this fall. 
 
Dr. Hill’s research focuses on the intersections between media, culture, politics and education; making his expertise a perfect fit for both colleges.
 
Dr. Hill, who has previously held a teaching position in the College of Education, will teach in the Urban Education Program. Here, Dr. Hill will share his vast knowledge in urban education to help students adapt to different teaching environments.  
 
"I am pleased Marc Lamont Hill will return to the faculty of the College of Education, where he will continue his prolific career as a leading intellectual voice, advocate for social justice and scholar of urban education," said Dean Gregory Anderson.
