Dr. William R. Hite shared his focus on equity, innovation, and quality of K-12 education in Philadelphia in a lecture he delivered to the Temple community on Tuesday, November 29. Hite discussed his work to create a system of great schools in every neighborhood, open new innovative high schools, expand successful school models, and launch in-district turnarounds and redesigned schools in partnership with communities. Hite reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening all elementary and secondary school offerings.

Hite serves as Superintendent of the School District of Philadelphia, the largest public school system in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
