College of Education Climbs in 'U.S. News' Ranking

The College of Education at Temple University was named the 48th Best Graduate School of Education in the 2018 U.S. News & World Report rankings. The College of Education rose from No. 55 to No. 48, two years after it climbed eight spots. 
The 2018 ranking is bolstered by a $2.7 million increase in externally funded research expenditure since 2014. Externally funded research expenditure was $9.7 million in 2014 and $12.4 million in 2016.

Dean Gregory M. Anderson explained, "Our 2018 ranking reflects the tremendous growth in the research productivity of our faculty. Additionally, our reputation continues to rise due to the noteworthy successes and accomplishments of our students, alumni, and faculty. This ranking also relates to the impact of our innovative academic programs as well as initiatives in schools, non-profit organizations, and the community."
