Temple University’s College of Education to co-host Edcamp with Black Male Educators for Social Justice

On Saturday, May 6, 2017 Temple University’s College of Education, Temple Teacher Residency and the Fellowship-Black Male Educators for Social Justice will host BMEC 6: Edcamp.

Whether you’re an experienced Black male educator looking for a new challenge, a college student weighing career paths, or working in another field you just don’t find fulfilling, BMEC 6: Edcamp will offer you the opportunity to talk with current Black male educators and learn how you can make an impact in Philadelphia public schools.

Edcamps are organic, participant-driven discussion series created by you (the attendee). All topics and discussions are generated collaboratively on the day of the event by those in attendance through a consensus building process on topics that speak directly to our audience interests.

Key Speakers:

Sharif El-Mekki, Co-Founder and Board Chair, The Fellowship
