The purpose of the Special Education Research To Practice Center at Temple University will be a national and international hub for special education experts and professionals to come together to advance evidence-based practices in the field which support the neediest and most underserved communities. It will leverage its connections in the urban core of the Philadelphia metropolitan area and be a place where special educators who teach in underserved communities can find ongoing support, professional development, and mentorship.
