March 2022

The saying that Owls Are Everywhere is true.  February provided an opportunity to visit with several CHED alumni in Florida and we are already planning ways in which to host small gatherings of our CEHD Owls near and far.  If you would be interested in hosting a cocktail party, dinner, or other small event with other Temple CEHD alumni along with faculty, staff, and/or students let us know at alumnied@temple.edu.

Our marketing team is also working to gather more news about our alumni, faculty, and students to share with our community.  If you have news or updates (a new book, presentation, personal accomplishments, etc.), don’t be shy let us know via this form.  With over 50K Temple CEHD alumni there are certainly many accomplishments and newsworthy items to share, such as two poetry books by Pearline Sturdivant ’21 and a research article by Monica Clark ’20 that are featured in this newsletter.

And even if you don’t have any stories to share, you may be able to help a CEHD doctoral student with their research.  Read on to learn more.

Whether you are in the Philadelphia area or around the globe, CEHD Owls are everywhere and we want to hear what you are doing and continue to build our community of like-minded educators and leaders.

With Gratitude,
