Peer Advising in the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD)

Peer Advisors in the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) provide student-to-student support to enhance the advising experience and promote student success. They offer guidance, connect students with appropriate campus resources, and assist with general inquiries related to academic processes and academic life at Temple. Peer Advisors also serve as a primary point of contact for guests and students visiting the Shimada Resource Center (SRC).

Peer Advisors can help students:

• Register for classes through Self-Service Banner
• Navigate and understand DARS (Degree Audit Reporting System) and curriculum sheet
• Schedule an appointment with an academic advisor
• Locating campus resources and referring students to appropriate offices when necessary.
• Responding to general questions about degree requirements, academic support services, and University policies and procedures.
