Mission: 
Professional Advancement Through Hands-on Learning (PATH) empowers College of Education and Human Development students through equitable access to career development, field experiences, professional preparation, and experiential learning opportunities that support lifelong success.  

Vision: 
To be a trusted partner in every student's professional journey by providing innovative, inclusive, and transformative career and experiential learning experiences that prepare graduates to lead and thrive in their chosen fields.  

Goals:  

  • Guide students through field placements, internships, and experiential learning opportunities that connect academic learning to professional practice.   

  • Equip students with the skills, resources, and confidence needed to achieve their career goals through coaching, professional development, and career readiness programming.   

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with employers, schools, community organizations, and alumni to expand opportunities for student engagement and employment.   

  • Promote equitable access to career development services and experiential learning opportunities for all CEHD students.   

  • Support students' transition from college to career by providing resources and guidance for employment, graduate education, and professional advancement.
