About Us

CREATE is the College of Education and Development’s newest Center and is focused on the educational needs of young people, their families, and their educators. In collaboration with the community, we offer programs and lead initiatives that grow and advance learning opportunities for children and adults in Philadelphia, the region, and beyond.

CREATE is a hub for community-centered programming at Temple University. Engaging with CREATE offers students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members meaningful personal and professional growth experiences as they collaborate with and support CREATE program participants.

Through high-quality and culturally relevant programs, partnerships, and research, Temple University’s Center for Reimagining Excellence, Access and Transformation in Education (CREATE) dismantles systemic barriers to educational opportunities. By leveraging innovative practices and fostering collaborations across diverse community stakeholders, CREATE cultivates positive, lasting change in schools, neighborhoods, communities, and educational systems.
