Through CREATE’s collaboration with Teach For America, the Ignite Fellowship program grants Temple students the opportunity to serve as virtual tutors, engaging with children in K-8 classrooms either in Philadelphia or around the country.  The Teach For America Ignite Fellowship is a paid, virtual tutoring program that helps K-12 students in underserved communities build confidence and academic momentum while Temple students enhance their leadership skills, develop teaching strategies, and build connections with students.

Temple students will commit to 3-5 hours per week per semester, using their dedicated schedule to tutor and build relationships with 2-3 students throughout their Fellowship experience.
