Apply to Temple Teacher Residency

Follow the three steps below to apply to the TTR program. Once complete, look for an email from a member of our team within two weeks with the status of your application.
STEP 1: SUBMIT OUR ELIGIBILITY FORM
Temple Teacher Residency (TTR) is a post-baccalaureate teacher certification program aligned to requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). Admission to the program is limited to those who have a bachelor's degree and coursework, as determined by the certification area.
In the form, we ask you a series of questions about your background, as well as your teaching preferences, to help determine if you are eligible for the program. We also ask that you upload any and all transcripts directly to the form.
STEP 2: TAKE THE PRAXIS® SUBJECT ASSESSMENT (IF NEEDED)
Before you can be admitted into TTR, you must first be admitted into the general graduate degree/certification program. Please see the Praxis program admission requirements for your select content area/grade level or specialization here.
STEP 3: COMPLETE YOUR GRADUATE SCHOOL APPLICATION
As noted above, before you can be admitted into TTR, you must first be admitted into the general graduate degree/certification program. Please apply using the link below. Because we have a rolling admissions process, we encourage you to apply as early as possible while space is available in the program.
Once you are accepted into the degree/certification program, TTR staff will contact you with next steps for applying to be part of the next TTR cohort.
