The partnership between the School District of Philadelphia (SDP) and Temple University’s Temple Teacher Residency (TTR) program is a deeply valued collaboration that combines theory and practice to create a lasting impact on preservice teachers, students and entire school communities. We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside SDP, a district that serves such a diverse and dynamic student body. By blending research-based teaching strategies with hands-on experience in SDP classrooms, TTR residents are empowered to address the district's diverse educational needs in subjects such as math, science, English Language Arts (ELA), Spanish and special education.
