Rooted in North Philadelphia. Built on Partnership. Committed to Every Learner.

The Temple Partnership Schools Network (TPSN) redefines what it means for a public urban research university to work alongside local schools and communities. Launching in 2026 in partnership with Dr. Tanner G. Duckrey School and Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune School of the School District of Philadelphia, TPSN is more than a university program. It is a long-term commitment to shared progress.

TPSN is grounded in the belief that thriving schools and thriving neighborhoods are deeply interconnected. Rather than positioning Temple as an outside provider of services, TPSN brings the university, schools, families and community partners together as genuine collaborators working side by side to identify needs, align resources and pursue a shared vision for student success from cradle to career.

Our Mission

The Temple Partnership Schools Network advances educational equity and community well-being by supporting cradle-to-career pathways through long-term, place-based partnerships grounded in a collective impact framework. We bring together schools, families, community partners and Temple University to co-create the conditions that support development, learning and opportunity—and to generate knowledge that improves practice, informs policy and drives systems change.
