Guidelines for Reserving Space in College of Education and Human Development (CEHD)

  1. CEHD instructors requesting a classroom or computer lab for an entire semester should submit a request to your Academic Coordinator who then works with the Dean's Office to identify appropriate space.

  2. CEHD instructors requesting a classroom or computer lab for one or more (but typically less than 6*) select course meetings during the semester should reserve a space online using the CEHD Self-service Bookings page

  3. CEHD instructors, faculty, or staff member requesting a computer lab/meeting space/classroom for special event/meeting/training session/etc. (e.g., not a regularly scheduled class):
    1. May reserve any available space online using the CEHD Self-service Bookings page
    2. If an appropriate space is not available or you need assistance in identifying a space, please submit the CEHD Room Request form.
  4. CEHD instructors, faculty, or staff member requesting a computer lab/meeting space/classroom OUTSIDE of Ritter Hall/Annex or College-controlled space (e.g., Tuttleman or Alter Hall) for a special event/meeting/training/etc. should access the "Room Request System" under TUApplications on TUPortal.

*Note: if your regularly scheduled course needs to meet in an alternative space for more than 6 meetings during the semester, we typically try to MOVE the course to the new location, rather than trying to schedule some meetings in one room and some meetings in another. This, of course, depends on availability.

We encourage you to review a list of Education Classrooms, Collaboration and Meeting Spaces before submitting your request.

Guidelines for Confirmed Room Reservations

You will be informed if a key is required to enter the room (and how and when to access the key). When you leave the room, please be sure to return all furniture to its original setup, move all trash (especially catering/food) outside of the room, turn off lights and technology, and lock all locks (if a key was issued). Your cooperation helps ensure a more pleasant experience for all.
