Armando X. Estrada, assistant professor of adult & organizational development has been invited to serve as a Subject Matter Expert to the The Ministry of Defence of Georgia and The Geneva Centre for Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) on a project to improve gender balance and reduce barriers to women within the Georgian Armed Forces, in support of Georgia's and NATO's strategic objectives to implement UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security and Related Resolutions. Dr. Estrada will contribute his expertise to a series of workshops with selected experts from NATO and Partner nations to share their experience of conducting or working with organizational climate assessments (or similar) in armed forces. The workshops will advise and support the Georgian Ministry of Defence's Assessment Working Group in developing their own assessment and data collection methods.
