September 2021

Fall has returned, as well as the energy and activity on campus. Much is returning to normal, but a lot’s changed or is in transition. Administrative changes are afoot, from our new Temple President Wingard to the search for an assistant director of development and alumni relations who will better connect with our school alumni. Masks and social distancing remain in place on campus. Our Development and Alumni Relations department remains remote due to the Ritter renovations.

With this in mind, we kick off our 21-22 academic year Owl Hour calendar with a timely virtual panel presentation on Providing Psychological Services in Challenging Times:  Lessons Learned, on September 30 from 5-6 p.m. See the feature below to learn more and register. And, look for more information about potential events on the road coming soon.

As noted, the Ritter Hall and Ritter Annex renovation continues and is progressing well. Join us at the CEHD Tent at the Homecoming Tailgate Village in Lot K of Lincoln Financial Field prior to the Memphis/Temple football game at noon on Saturday, October 2 to learn and see more about the project as well as meet other CEHD alumni, faculty, staff, and students.

We are excited to be able to connect/re-connect in person on a limited basis, while also providing virtual programming to share what is happening in and around our college for alumni near and far.

As always, we welcome your thoughts and personal updates at alumni.ed@temple.edu, and look forward to seeing you online or in-person this Fall.

Go Owls,

Ed Stoner
Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Relations
