May 2022

Nora Ephron said, “Your education is a dress rehearsal for a life that is yours to lead.”  This month we welcomed another class of CEHD graduates to our alumni and look forward to seeing the lives they lead given their dress rehearsal at Temple.

In this newsletter you can read about several of our alumni who have and continue to lead impactful lives.  Our Commencement speakers featured two such Owls, Sean Desai ’08 and three-time Temple grad Irene Eizen ’70, ’72, ’95.  Kent Scribner ’92 was selected as our CEHD Gallery of Success honoree; and two 2015 CEHD graduates, Matthew Kerr and Matthew Menschner, were recognized as 30 Under 30 honorees which features young alumni working to change the world. Finally, Adjoa Asamoah ’98, ’01 was recently appointed Racial Equity Czar (technically Czarina) for the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

With over 50K Temple CEHD alumni there are certainly many alumni who have and continue to lead impactful lives and creating newsworthy stories to share, so let us hear about your life today and how your dress rehearsal at Temple has guided and supported you in the life you are leading.
