Biography

As a former career services professional, Dr. Katie Smith's research focuses on issues of equity in college student career development. In particular, Dr. Smith studies the financial, social, and environmental influences on students' career exploration, opportunities, and post-graduate outcomes. Dr. Smith specializes in studying workplace socialization experiences such as internships, and undergraduate women’s career development in engineering and computing.
